The village will be built on the prominent greenspace in downtown, in front of the courthouse, with custom models of local businesses built by local university students. The entire scene will feature Christmas lights synced with music. The event is free, but donations to the local United Way are encouraged. The event begins Nov. 28 in conjunction with the Tree Lighting.

As the Feast of the Seven Fishes Festival wraps up another day of all things Italian, stay and enjoy the Fairmont Christmas Parade.
The parade route follows Fairmont Avenue at 4th Street, turning right at the courthouse and proceeding over the Jefferson Street Bridge, turning left onto Merchant
Street, and ending at the Palatine Park intersection.
Held on the 2nd Saturday of December.

Wednesdays of the season will be walker nights. The park will be closed to traffic and you can enjoy the lights up close and personal.
Attendees park at Fairmont Federal Credit Union at the Gateway Connector and are shuttled into Morris Park.
The last shuttle will leave for the park at 9:00 p.m.
No parking is allowed at the park. Volunteers will guide you when you arrive on the shuttle.
